Maybe you're retired, or the kids have finally moved out. Anyway you look at it, you've got more time to yourself.

But do you want to waste it sitting in a chair watching daytime TV and reading brochures for cruises you can't afford?

Or would you prefer to be active, meeting new people and going new places?

What can taking up regular exercise do for me now - surely I'm past it?

Flexibility

Balance
Every year thousands of older people are admitted to hospital after a fall. Many of these can be attributed to a loss of balance. Regular exercise can help maintain your sense of balance and keep you mobile.

OK, so you're not sprightly anymore, and you aren't convinced your body looks too flash in fluoro lycra. The gym doesn't give a seniors discount and you don't want to ride your clunky bicycle in all the traffic. What's the best exercise you can do?

what HAS EXERCISE
DONE FOR YOU?

If you have sold up and moved, it's a great way to get to know the new area, and meet new people.

Perhaps you're worried about your blood pressure, or don't know how to get started, or maybe just lack the motivation. Perhaps you're one of those seniors who is busier now than when you were employed.
