DESCRIPTION: This walk offers a different view of Sydney Harbour’s foreshores, as well as a number of surprises. The walk takes you through some of Sydney’s most desirable harbourside real estate, past gun emplacements, hidden beaches, subtropical rainforest, Aboriginal middens and tracts of wild coastal heath.
| THERE & BACK: Bus from QVB or Wynyard to Spit Bridge. Manly Ferry back to Circular Quay. |
| FACILITIES: There are toilets at various spots on the track. Take a day pack with lunch. There are a few cafes along the track which serve coffee. Also pack a towel and bathers for a swim. | BEST TIME: All year round. Summer is great for swimming at some of the beaches, while winter is enjoyable for fresh breezes and exercise. HOW HARD IS IT REALLY? Track is well maintained and easy to follow. There is some climbing along with a spot of beach walking. |
