DESCRIPTION:
 
The Bibbulmun Track is a long distance walking track that takes you through some of the most beautiful areas of south-west Western Australia. Those who walk the full length are known as 'end to enders'.  
 
THERE:
Start from Albany central.
 
BACK:
Various services operate between Kalamunda and Perth.

FACILITIES:
Campsites are provided which include a hut, a 5,000 litre water tank and basic toilet facilities.
 
Take all your own food, tents (no booking system for huts) and cooking equipment including fuel stoves as camp fires are only allowed at some sites.
BEST TIME: During the wildflower season of spring (September - November), going from north to south. Can be walked from March to November. 
 
HOW HARD IS IT REALLY?
Track is well maintained and easy to follow. A solid walk which is not recommended for summer. Always wear a sun hat.

FOOD: 
Independent walkers must take all their own food. There are 9 towns along the way where food can be obtained.
 
WATER:
Water is available at campsites. Take water containers with you.

TRACK FEES:
None are needed for walking the track.
